Quandary


What do you think? Should older men strut the runway too? [haha I can't believe I just said "strut"] I think it's great that there's diversity, but it just doesn't look quite right.

This last picture is definitely my favorite because of the moodiness and sophistication. The reason I really like and appreciate this collection so much is because of the amazing SEWING. Seriously, can YOU do that type of sewing and folding and draping and etc. etc.? The dresses with the bows in front..you can't tell where the bow starts and ends since it's all connected to the dress. There's pretty much nonexistent hems, which makes me stare at the picture in awe. (Though after 20 minutes of staring at the pretty dresses on the computer, I have to look away for 20 seconds. I learned that from health class haha..)




If you look at the back view of this dress it looks like a heart! It may not have been on purpose, but that was just something I thought was interesting.

    If I saw an old man on the runway my first thought would be 'aww that old man is lost'

    lovely post, i fell in love when i saw the Dior couture collection, my jaw dropped, the dresses were amazzzzing! If only we could all fork out a couple grand to have one of those gorgeous gowns in out wardrobe

    I absolutelt aDORE a full skirt, long or short. Have never shied away from tulle . . .

    The whole older men on the runway thing is kind of strange, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Different is fun.

    Dior's couture collection is so fantastic! Some of the pieces are unbelieveable. And I agree with you that the last picture is gorgeous..it's definitely my favourite too!

    Couture collections always stun me, the fact that such amazing detail can be created by hand is mind blowing! (I love the old man with the flute, it's a nice touch I think.)

    I kinda like seeing older men on the runway! I think it adds some character to the clothes and also forces us to look at them in a different context. I do have to admit thought, the guy on the far right looks a little scary. Haha. And I haven't seen those Dior pics with the full backdrop! With the clothes, it looks like a painting!
