ahh sorry. blogging break.

see you january 2009 perhaps?

!!!

This post was way to exciting for just one word. So it's a !!!

First of all, I'll return comments and hopefully upload new photos this weekend, so that I can post more than once a week.

Second, I raised my math grade!

Third, this is the reason for the '!!!' Ready? Alexander Mcqueen is coming out with a collection called McQ that will be available at target march 1, 2009 to april 11, 2009!! Charlotte Ronson is collaborating with J.C.Penny for a line called "I heart Ronson" coming Spring 2009 with prices ranging from $15 to $65. Thakoon now has clothes available at Target as part of Target's Go! International Series.

On second thought, I may not be uploading my photos this weekend. I'll see you at Target instead:]

Finally, what's a good post without some inspirational picture? [Gianni Versace Sketch]

Ludicrous

Sorry for rejecting my blog for so long.

Opulent

The word opulent doesn't actually have anything to do with this post..I just watched a ProjectRunway re-run and Michael Kors said the word opulent about 10 gazillion times. I wonder, is he good at vocab? He should take the SAT for me.

All my neighbors asked me what I was doing in my front yard with jeans, a bottle of bleach, and scissors. It looked like I was killing the lawn with bleach. Seriously, who kills grass with bleach?
My design: shorts [except technically I didn't make this from fabric, I just cut it into shorts and bleached it], and black satin sash/belt.

Thank you to those who liked my boots, they're from my sweet grandmother :] Also, thanks to those who like my "poses", I only do that when I'm alone. Which is why currently all my pictures are in my backyard, since I don't have the guts to go somewhere cool, setup my camera, and stick a leg out here and bend over there and make faces at my camera.

I am all psat-ed out. and todai-ed out. my sister and i put dimsun in our purses to take home as a snack later. if you ever go to todai (an asian buffet place thing thats kind of pretty much amazing) bring your humongous overly trendy purses!

Hero

Project Runway's Leanne is my hero. I think her feminine gorgeous style stands out among all the Alexander Wang wannabes. Although I love Christian Siriano (from the last season of Project Runway. Trust me, I do love him..I even wrote a short poem about him in my old blog haha) I think Leanne is my favorite project runway winner so far because I think her style is something that is aesthetically pleasing to everyone (including those not used to the couture grunge-y-ness of that alexanderwang god, erin wasson, etc.) and I think it's much easier to pull off ruffles than lowcut see-through tanks without bras?

ANYWAYS.

http://www.etsy.com/shop_sold.php?user_id=5249055&order=&page=1

Look at some of the things she sold before she was on Project Runway! Plus, her user name is Leanimal...don't you think that's so cute? She's my new hero.

Nefarious

Follow my blog with bloglovin´

Just random pictures to ensure that my blog will oneday explode with pictures in every post. My friends took these for me at the mall. I love how they have become used to me being obsessive over blogging pictures that they offer to take them for me! [Self-timer, I still love you] For some reason, this outfit doesn't feel completely "me", but then I was wearing my beloved Fendi bag, which evens it all out.

A long time ago I experimented making money with Amazon MTurk. I completely forgot about it until now, and I redeemed the money I "made" for an Amazon.com giftcard...and then bought myself a year of Vogue. Therefore, I pretty much get a full year of Vogue for free, jealous much?

Inherent

Sorry for the huge gaps between my posts. I'd be happy to post more if someone was willing to take the SAT for me :] Yeah. I'm pretending to be studious. Perhaps that's why I made this vest out of plaid cloth, which was originally from school-uniform material that was given to me by my grandma She was commissioned to make uniforms, but she gave an extremely large (leftover?) stack of plaid cloth to me. Leftover or not, it's the latest pattern that I am obsessed with.

Hey you. Psssst. I'm not sure why in some pictures I'm holding my scarf, instead of wearing it. But whatever. Layering plaid is way too fun.

Vest; Handmade/My design.

Accursed

Be Green. Pose with trees.

My mother insulted this shirt, and then gave it to me. So, of course, I had to wear it.

Indolent

Lazyy day :] It's those tights again, but unlike the previous post, these are recent photographs. Self-timer can be really entertaining, especially with my camera, since the screen can flip out so you can see yourself! It's beyond cool.

Ineffable

Ineffable=indescribable
Back to school...ahh..means back to being around sick little people who give you their sick little germs causing you to have a stubborn little cold, and therefore, not letting you to take new pictures.
I did find this random outfit from summer, though :]

Lament

lament (v) to express grief for; mourn

Congrats to the twenty that made it to the next round of the teenvogue competition. I've decided that I am long overdue for ordering Nylone mag. instead of TeenVogue. I have also decided that I will take care of my frustration by sewing :]] and giving my blog new blog some more tlc. Good way to release random negative energy, hm?

Betsey Johnson cupcakes can always cheer me up! [pic; the cobrasnake]

'

I am off to the sewingino machino magnificico. I have no idea what exactly I just said, but anyways..pictures tomorrow!

Novelty

The dress from underneath is made/designed by my grandmother, and I absolutely love it. Although I haven't technically worn this outfit yet (though I am...perhaps tomorrow?) I had fun prancing around wearing it in my backyard. My favorite aspect of this dress is thehigh neckline.

Accentuate

Fortune Magazine recently published it's "The Business of Style" issue, and after my dad showed me, I whisked the magazine away and took it to the scanner. Well, I wanted to. Click the pictures to enlarge.

These two pages are about The Streets, you know, the ones with all the major designer stores and beautiful architechture and elegant looking salespeople and clothes that make you drool excessively. Yeah, that one. Check them out..

:]

Auspicious

auspicious (adj) favorable; promising.:: If you didn't know before, I name my blog posts with SAT words so I can blog&study at the same time :] genius, hm?

I was formerly "Thatshautttefashion" all last year, and along with all my normal back-to-school shopping (I have new fabric! wheeee. Okay, I'm done obsessing now), I decided to create a fresh new blog. drum roll pleaseeeeeeee...

MWah Fashion. The name came from my initials (which are MW) and of course my blog revolves around fashion. The word "mwah" as in kisses kind of "mwah" (not like evil-laugh kind of "mwahahah" ) popped into my head and etc. etc. you get the picture.

----------------------------------------------------------------

New Blog!
because I felt like it? I'll create posts ahead of time so that I can give myself mini breaks :]
Anyways

www.mwahfashion.blogspot.com

:]

Denial

I'm in denial. School is starting soon, and I don't know whether to take a pause on this blog, or keep using it and posting every now and then, or create a whole new blog and make lots of posts ahead of time just in case I am unexpectedly busy, or just take a break and collect posts and then BAAM make a new blog and start posting often.

Try saying that sentence all in one breath.

Anyways, I think I might have to take a teensy-weensy break just for now, and if I do decide to sacrifice bits and pieces of my life to spend time on the computer, I think I might make a new URL and all? I love blogging, and looking at all of YOUR beautiful inspirational blogs, so unless you burn all the computers within 100 miles of me, I'm not going to stoppp.!

I'm done now obsessing over what I'm going to do now. I'll be sure to let you know!

MINI UPDATEE :]

I just broke my chain of using SAT words as my title...oh well.

I'd like to thank everyone for their lovely comments :] I decided to enter outfit 3 because..my mother liked it best. When I don't listen to my mother..bad things happen. I also didn't want to enter too many, because I didn't want to appear a little stuck-up or anything?

Comment...if you wish. It would be wonderful :]

Plus, some fellow bloggers have entered too, and you should comment on theirs too! See their blog for more info. www.handmeover.blogspot.com www.fashionchalet.blogspot.com [If you entered and I didn't realize yet, let me knoww!]

Insatiable

Insatiable (adj) incapable of being satisfied. Ex: I imagine Nina Garcia from Project Runway to be an insatiable person at times.
My newest project from the sewing machine from a couple of posts ago. I made this high-waisted ruffle skirt out of leftover jean material from the vest I made, and although it's not perfect and my technique isn't the most professional, I'm happy with how it turned out! (Although some ironing would help)

I'm considering enterting that teenvogue contest, you know, just for laughs? So, I'd like to know which outfit (and which picture) you like the best! :]

Clandestine

clandestine (adj.) secret. Ex: So far my name has been a clandestine.

Okay NOW I promise I'm officially back to posting. So I'd like to make a huge t-rex sized post, no offense to dinosaurs (who knows, they might be as sensitive as some of the modelsss in this industry..?) Thank you for those who still looked at my mini-filler posts, about random things such as sewing machines and Colombian fashion! I agree with everyone, those first two necklaces are eye-popping. (I'm feeling more random than usual today. One of my friends explained to me that if your eyeball falls out in a freak fishing accident, if you put it back in right away it will still work. Apparantly.)

Anyways...

1. I've been contemplating about an e-bay store. Actually, my MOTHER has been too. Mother-daughter ebay store selling vintage/new finds, and our own designs. How fantastic is that? I'm excited that I can do something "bonding" with my mother, without being lectured. (FYI, I just got lectured for not doing my calc hw..and it's summer!)

But before I set up my own...I'd like to show you my list of role models :] These are some of the extremely cool ebay stores out there that I've seen. Let me know if you have another one to add to the list!

Elvis's peacock jumpsuit sold for 300,000 at a recent auction.!

Okay so the post wasn't as fat as I wanted, but that's okay. Have a nice day!

Edit: I killed half of this post because it was annoying me. fyi.!

Advocate

advocate(v.): to argue in favor of something

I promise that from now on I will remember to create some lovely posts...and not procrastinate for a week!

So anyways...some fashion from around the globe. Colombiamoda fashion show in Medellin, Colombia. I love the native Columbian vibe and casual/resort-y aspects (sorry if that doesn't make any sense to you, but that's how my brain wants to describe it!) in some of these designs.
